Augusto Daniel Gallo
Sculptor, Argentina
Augusto Daniel Gallo has always lived between Italy and Argentina, spending long periods in both countries and continuing his interest in drawing and sculpture. He opted for the latter at the age of 29. Influenced to work with waste materials, he chose iron precisely because iron waste abounds in his native country.
In 2013, the Monumento a la Sublevación Federal became his first experience as an iron sculptor. From 2017, after his first exhibition in northern Italy, he became an international artist creating monumental works in Italy, Bolivia, Argentina and India, mostly on equestrian themes.
