Kyoko Yoshida
Contemporary artist, Japan
I was born and raised in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony family.
The places where I spent my childhood were the sea, the beach, the river and the traditional culture. In addition my family took me to various farms and ranches. And I got many opportunities to play with draft horses and ponies in these places. I specialised in interior design at university. After that, I worked as a designer and illustrator for a long time. And now, as it used to be, I've come to touch horses, laugh with people, and create artworks.
When I start drawing a work, something comes to mind, And as the painting goes on, it becomes more and more abstract. But I'm always trying to express dynamism and vibrancy.
