Dutch contemporary artist Mirelle Vegers (1975) has been around horses all her life.
“I have been drawing ever since I was able to hold a pencil, and now have more than
twenty years of experience in painting. Horses in all shapes and sizes continue to be
a source of inspiration, spiritually and emotionally"
Mirelle feels she can make an inner connection with the horse she is commissioned
to paint. She works with a special technique she refers to as working from a deep
connection within. Mirelle is an equine artist by heart but at the same time an artist
who is constantly looking to push her own boundaries and not letting herself be boxed
in or labeled.
