Art Consults and Mentorship for Equine Artists
Strategic support to align your creative vision with professional success
You may already be exhibiting, connecting, and developing your artistic identity, yet still sense there is more ahead. Clearer positioning. Stronger alignment between your work and its audience. The confidence to make decisions that move your career forward with purpose.
As a curator and coach specialising in equine art, I have worked with artists around the world to refine portfolios, strengthen professional presence, and develop clear strategies for growth.
At this moment, my long term coaching and mentorship programmes are not available as my focus is on several ongoing curatorial projects. A renewed range of services will launch in December 2025. If you are seeking focused, one to one support in the meantime, the Art Consult remains available.
The Art Consult
A 60 minute one to one session designed for artists seeking professional and strategic feedback on a specific challenge or opportunity.
Whether you need clarity on your portfolio direction, pricing, artist statement, or an upcoming exhibition, this session offers expert insight grounded in curatorial experience.
You will leave with a clear understanding of your next steps and a written summary to support your progress.
Investment: €127,50 (incl. VAT).
Availability: Limited November sessions before the 2025 relaunch.
This rate applies until the December 2025 service launch.
Looking ahead
The renewed services launching in December will include in depth mentorship and strategic advisory for artists and art professionals working within the equine art field. To be the first to hear when these new opportunities open, you can subscribe for updates below.
What artists say
'In Joyce I have finally found a great art and business coach. Her understanding of equine art and the art world is unparalleled.'
Mirelle Vegers, equine artist, the Netherlands
'Joyce is a gifted coach. There is no cookie cutter approach. Everything is individualised. She has art training, is a proven curator, and holds international standing in our niche field of equine art.'
Karen Osborn, pastel artist, Australia
'Being held accountable gave me the disciplined mindset I needed to push past self doubt. Joyce's reassurance was a game changer. As a sounding board, she brought clarity, confidence, and the momentum I needed. Without these sessions, I would still be going in circles. Now, my business is becoming a fully fledged online gallery.'
Nina Boyle, equine photographer, Australia
'The sessions gave me perspective. I could finally see what was right for me, what was possible, and how to move forward.'
Elnaz Delnava, equine artist, Iran
'A great way to take stock and explore possibilities. Thank you Joyce Ter Horst.'
Jeannine Flower, equine and landscape artist, France
'The guidance brought more peace of mind and confidence in my artistic story than I ever expected.'
Nannie van Berkel, equine photographer, the Netherlands
