Dutch Equine Art Fair 2025

6–9 November
Living Horse Museum, Amsterdam

The Dutch Equine Art Fair 2025 was a curated exhibition of contemporary equine art, held at the Living Horse Museum in Amsterdam. The fair brought together over 30 international artists working across painting, photography, sculpture and mixed media.

The fair takes place at De Hollandsche Manege, the oldest riding school in the Netherlands and home to the Living Horse Museum.

The Dutch Equine Art Fair was initiated by museum directors Elsbeth Bos and Vincent Valk, who continue to support its development

as a platform for contemporary equine art within this historic setting.

Working in close collaboration with the museum, the exhibition is developed and curated with a focus on direction, coherence

and the relationship between individual works and the wider presentation.

Set within this context, the exhibition approached equine art beyond subject alone. The focus lay on how the work positions itself,

how it holds together as a body of work, and how it operates within a broader contemporary framework.
