Curatorial Highlights
Dutch Equine Art Fair
The Living Horse Museum in Amsterdam initiated the Dutch Equine Art Fair to give equine art a larger, contemporary stage. Rooted in the museum’s mission to preserve and share the cultural heritage of the horse, the four-day event presents more than 30 international artists in its historic setting. Commissioned by the Living Horse Museum, the fair is curated and organised by Joyce Ter Horst, reflecting the museum’s vision to establish the event as a landmark for equine art in Europe.
Thelwell’s Pony Parade: A Century of Charm and Wit
A playful yet carefully curated tribute to Norman Thelwell’s 100th birthday at the Living Horse Museum. His iconic ponies were reframed through a contemporary lens, attracting new audiences and celebrating the enduring power of equine illustration.
