The Curator Method
The work leads. Everything else follows.
The Curator Method is a three-month, one-to-one curatorial collaboration for artists who want to develop a stronger body of work and a clearer artistic direction.
Unlike the Art Consult, which focuses on a single question or moment, The Curator Method is an ongoing collaboration that allows your work to develop over time. Together, we explore your work in depth, refine its underlying ideas, strengthen its narrative, and position it within a contemporary professional context.
Who it's for
The Curator Method is for artists who:
-
want to develop a coherent body of work
-
are ready for in-depth curatorial dialogue
-
seek clarity, direction and professional positioning
-
are committed to developing their practice over time
How it works
The Method consists of five one-to-one conversations over approximately three months.
Each session builds on the previous one, moving through a structured progression:
-
The Work
-
Concept & Direction
-
Narrative
-
Positioning & Presentation
-
The Next Stage
This gradual process allows ideas to mature and decisions to build naturally on one another.
What you'll receive
-
Five one-to-one curatorial conversations
-
Advance review of relevant work
-
Written summaries and observations where appropriate
-
Greater clarity around concept, narrative and artistic identity
-
Professional positioning within a contemporary context
-
A defined direction for the next stage of your practice
The aim is not to provide a formula, but to help your work develop with greater coherence, confidence and purpose.
Investment
The Curator Method is offered as a fixed-fee, five-session collaboration.
Artists who begin with an Art Consult may have that investment credited in full towards The Curator Method.
A structured payment option is available for artists who wish to spread the investment.
