How I work

Every body of work reaches a point where clarity is needed.

You may be refining direction, navigating a specific decision, or shaping an exhibition or wider collaboration.

The question is rarely whether the work is strong. It is what kind of curatorial direction will move it forward.

Work often begins with a single conversation and may develop into a longer curatorial collaboration, depending on what is needed.

Art Consult

A focused, one to one curatorial conversation centred on a specific question or moment within your work.

This may relate to direction, positioning, presentation, or a decision requiring clarity before moving forward. The Art Consult is often the starting point. It brings immediate perspective and defines what the work requires next.

For some artists, this conversation becomes the starting point for a more sustained curatorial process.

The Curator Method

A structured continuation for artists ready to develop their work into a coherent and professionally positioned body of work.

It is suited to artists ready to engage with their work at a professional level. The Curator Method builds on initial direction and develops it over time, allowing the work to mature with clarity, structure and curatorial intent.

It unfolds through a series of focused one to one conversations that build on each other and move the work forward with intention.

The process is deliberately paced and centred on the work as a whole.

Curatorial Advisory and Projects

Curatorial direction for exhibitions, collaborations and projects entering a public or professional context.

This includes concept development, positioning, artist selection and the overall structure of the work within its environment.

These collaborations are defined by scope, context and ambition, and are developed in close dialogue with the project or organisation.

Where to begin

If you are unsure where to begin, the Art Consult is usually the starting point.
