Applications must be submitted via the online application form before 7 July 2026.

Applications are open to individual artists only. Galleries, collectives, or artist representatives are not eligible to apply.

The Dutch Equine Art Fair is intended for artists working with the equine theme who demonstrate a developed body of work and a clear artistic direction.
Selection
-
Artists are asked to submit six works for consideration.
-
From these submissions, up to four works may be selected for presentation within the exhibition.
Selection is based on:

Artistic quality
-
Consistency within the work
-
Professional presentation
-
Strength and direction of the body of work
-
Suitability within the overall exhibition
All selections and presentation decisions are made by the curator.

Presentation Formats
Three presentation formats are available:
-
Standard 2D wall presentation
-
Dedicated 3D presentation space
-
Combined 2D and 3D presentation space
Artists may indicate their preferred presentation format within the application form. Final placement is determined by the curator based on the submitted work and the overall exhibition layout.
2D Presentation
-
Selected 2D artists are provided with approximately 4.5 metres of wall space divided across four exhibition panels.
-
All submitted works must be ready to hang and professionally presented, including appropriate framing and
hanging hardware where required. -
Each panel measures approximately 1.22 metres wide.To ensure a professional and balanced presentation,
artworks should generally not exceed approximately 1.10 metres wide including framing.
3D Presentation

Dedicated 3D spaces are intended for sculpture and other free-standing work including ceramics, installation, and mixed media objects.

Artists exhibiting 3D work are responsible for bringing their own pedestals or professional display materials.

Display furniture is not provided by the exhibition.
Combined 2D and 3D Presentation

A limited number of combined presentation spaces are available for artists exhibiting both wall-based and sculptural work.

These spaces are arranged individually depending on the nature of the work and the overall exhibition design.
Start Your Collection

Artists may indicate if they would like to be considered for the Start Your Collection presentation.

This curated section focuses on smaller and more accessible works intended for new and emerging collectors.

Participation is optional and curated separately from the main exhibition selection.
-
Works included in this presentation must be priced at €600 or below.
International Artists

Artist Presence

Selected artists are expected to be present during installation, the opening event, and designated hours throughout the fair.

The Dutch Equine Art Fair is known for its strong artist presence and direct interaction between artists, collectors, and visitors.
